Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Inter wingback Ivan Perisic this summer on a free transfer, according to a report in the UK media today.

As has been reported by ESPN in the UK, Tottenham Hotspur have now joined the race with Juventus and Chelsea to bring the Croatian player into their squad for next season.

Ivan Perisic is out of contract with Inter in the summer and he is asking for €6 million per season on a two-year deal. Inter have so far refused to offer that but the Premier League side does not see those figures as prohibitive even if they would rather offer a shorter contract.

Some sources suggest that Ivan Perisic favours a move to Juventus but there is certainly nothing set in stone.

Heading to Tottenham Hotspur would mean a reunion with former Inter coach Antonio Conte who was in charge when the Nerazzurri won the Scudetto last season.
