Inter are pushing to extend Ivan Perisic’s contract despite interest from Juventus and others in signing him, and only consider Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic a Plan B to renewing the the 33-year-old.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on his homepage that it could end up being the Bianconeri who move for Kostic rather than the Nerazzurri.

Perisic’s situation remains up in the air, with Juventus being one of the clubs to have shown the strongest interest in signing him on a free transfer if he does not extend his deal with the Nerazzurri.

Inter have lined up Kostic as a replacement if Perisic leaves, but they are ready to make a push to convince Perisic to stay on, and in this case signing Kostic would also be the Bianconeri’s Plan B option to signing Perisic, so it could be the case that each of the two clubs will have one of the pair for next season.

Kostic has interest from some clubs in the Premier League, but according to Pedulla, his preference is for a move to Serie A.
