Joaquin Correa looks to be the favourite to start in attack for Inter in their Serie A clash with Sampdoria this evening.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 27-year-old is ahead of the likes of Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez to start alongside Lautaro Martinez in the Nerazzurri’s final match of the campaign.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has rotated between his attacking options throughout the season in selecting the duo to lead the line, basing his decisions around form, fitness, and the tactical dictates of particular matches and opponents.

In recent weeks, Martinez has cemented a place for himself in the starting eleven with his excellent goalscoring form, but the place alongside him has been up for grabs.

Correa looks to be the player who the coach will place his trust in from the first minute against the Blucerchiati.

Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries looks to be the favourite to start on the right ahead of Matteo Darmian.
