Inter defeated Sampdoria in the last match of the Serie A season handsomely 3-0 after a brace from Joaquin Correa.

The Nerazzurri dominated the first half but were unable to break the deadlock until Ivan Perisic scored in the 49th minute. Then six minutes later Joaquin Correa doubled Inter’s lead before scoring again two minutes later to make it 3-0.

Samir Handanovic – 6.5: Had no shots to deal with in the first half. Stayed on his line even when he needed to deal with 1-2 crosses. Did very well in the second half.

Milan Skriniar – 6: Under no pressure whatsoever as Inter dominated the game. No mistakes and spent more of his time trying to help break down Sampdoria.

Stefan De Vrij – 6: Stefan had all the time in the world to do his work today. No pressure or chances to worry about. Moved the ball very well throughout.

Alessandro Bastoni – 6.5: Bastoni didn’t look 100% but was not challenged defensively. Combined well with Perisic to create a few openings. Hopefully he stays on.

Denzel Dumfries – 6: Not the most fluent game in attack by Denzel but was solid whenever called upon defensively. Could have so easily got on the scoresheet.

Nicolo Barella – 7: Needs to work on improving his shooting but his drive is just superb. Fantastic assist for Perisic and could have easily got a goal as well.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6.5 : As usual controlled both the phases of play. His passing was very good and took some good shots from distance in the first half. World-class.

Hakan Calhanoglu – 7: Started the game patiently and used the ball well. As is standard, his set pieces were full of quality. Set up the Correa goal beautifully.

Ivan Perisic – 7: Combined very well with Bastoni and most of Inter’s threat came from the left especially in the first half. Hopefully the renewal goes ahead.

Lautaro Martinez – 6: Lautaro looked like he had the confidence and was very unlucky with his shots as Audero was making one inspired save after the other.

Joaquin Correa – 7.5: Correa helped the midfield out and was brilliant in build up play. Took until the second half to finally convert chances into another brace.

Arturo Vidal – 5.5: Birthday boy Vidal didn’t have the best of starts off the bench in what was probably his last game in Inter colors. Best of luck at Flamengo!

Robin Gosens – 6: Got some minutes as Ivan got injured and ran his socks off. Couldn’t create a goal but was a constant threat along with Dimarco on the left.

Federico Dimarco – 6: Federico’s highlight was the long shot from the set piece that could have easily resulted in a goal. Hopefully some more goals next season.

Andrea Rannochia – 6: Another player that will probably not play in the Inter jersey next season. Looked off pace as he has barely played recently. Good luck.

Felipe Caicedo – 6: Oh, there he is. Finally, some minutes for Felipe and he made a few runs through the middle that looked decent. Will play in Serie B next.

Simone Inzaghi – 6.5: The first half was poor only because Inter couldn’t convert the multiple chances they created. The subs were after Inter had 3 points sealed.

Marco Di Bello – 6.5: No major decisions to make and did not blow the whistle too much. The bookings were fair and he never seemed to have lacked control.

Inter – 7: Almost a perfect season and if a few episodes went the other way, it could have been another treble. Didn’t look uncomfortable today.
