Legendary former Roma forward Francesco Totti feels that Inter-linked Paulo Dybala could well find himself inheriting his Number Ten shirt at Roma.

Speaking outside the Integration Heroes charity match at San Siro, as reported by FCInter1908, Totti gave the view that Dybala could well be the right player to give a spark to Jose Mourinho’s Giallorossi team from next season onwards.

Dybala’s departure from Juventus during the summer transfer window has left a number of clubs interested in his signature, with Inter foremost among the teams in Serie A linked with his signature but Roma also reportedly still holding an interest.

Given that the Argentine would be available on a free transfer, a move for him could well tempt Mourinho and the club given the quality that he would bring.

Asked whether he thinks that Dybala could potentially be the next Number Ten for his old club the Giallorossi, Totti replied “I could give him some advice, it depends on what he wants, but sure I’d have him.”
