Inter will hold the decisive contract talks with Ivan Perisic today, which will determine whether he stays past the end of the season or not amid links to Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will not meet the 33-year-old’s wage demands directly, but could reach them through the addition of add-ons.

Perisic currently earns €4.8 million net per season, but is looking for a salary of €6 million net per season on his next contract, an amount which Juventus have put forward to try and convince him on a free transfer.

The Nerazzurri are making another attempt to convince him to extend, however, although they will not budge on their contract offer, as they are determined to respect their wage structure as part of their financial plan.

However, the total offer could come close to the €6 million net asked for the player when non-trivial add-ons are included.
