Inter wingback Ivan Perisic signed off for his outstanding season with one more nearly perfect display on the left in the team’s 3-0 win over Sampdoria yesterday evening in Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who gave the 33-year-old a 7/10 grade for his performance in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition, the same score as teammate Joaquin Correa.

Perisic scored the match-winning opening goal in a 3-0 victory, but this was only the icing on the cake of what had been an overall completely effective display on both sides of the ball as the Croat has led fans to come to expect.

A calf injury that forced Perisic off was the only negative aspect to a night where he did little wrong on both sides of the ball and controlled his flank with his energy, technical ability, and intelligent positioning, though it came right at the end of the campaign.
