Inter are likely to have to sell a big name player this summer in order to meet financial targets, and Alessandro Bastoni looks to be the prime candidate for a sale.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri will have to bring in a net transfer profit of €60 million during the window.

The Nerazzurri’s financial situation looks considerably more positive than it did last summer, but they will still be required to bring in a transfer profit during this summer’s transfer window.

It therefore looks inevitable that given the size of the profit which must be achieved, one major sale will take place.

There are several candidates in the squad whose valuation would go a long way to meeting the goal of €60 million, with Lautaro Martinez having at one point been the likeliest departure, but it now looks as though Bastoni could be the player to be sacrificed.
