Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is targeting Juventus forward Paulo Dybala as a signing to give to the fans as a gift.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could bring in the Argentine to bring a sense of positivity to the supporters.
Dybala’s arrival looks to be an increasingly serious and concrete possibility, with Marotta the driving force behind the interest in the 28-year-old who is available on a free transfer when his deal with the Bianconeri expires.
The possibility of signing Dybala is a popular one with the Nerazzurri faithful, and the CEO is keen to make it happen.
The Nerazzurri are heading into the summer transfer market well aware that there will be significant financial restrictions that they must respect, but Marotta believes that they can still add not just quality but also a player who will make the fans happy without breaking the bank.
