Inter Vice-President Jvaier Zanetti has thanked departing defender Andrea Ranocchia for his contribution to the club since joining from Genoa in the summer of 2010 in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The 34-year-old has had many ups and downs with the Nerazzurri since his joining, having been part of the team that won the Coppa Italia along with Zanetti in 2011 and signed off with another cup triumph this season, winning the Scudetto in between.
Zanetti’s post reads, “Andrea, in recent seasons you have been a true symbol of what Inter means. On and off the pitch, every single day.”
“A good word for everyone, the ability to always be ready when called upon, many unforgettable moments experienced together.”
“Inter will always be your home, with the affection and respect of all Interisti.”
