Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is keen on signing Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the coach’s interest could be the driving force behind a move for the 23-year-old by the London club.

Bastoni looks to be a serious candidate for a big name sale at the Nerazzurri, and if he were to be available then Conte will target a reunion with the defender with whom he worked for two seasons in charge at Inter.

The London-based club would not be the only team interested in Bastoni’s signature, but they could be the ones to make the move for him if he were on his way.

Spurs have not yet decisively come forward with interest in Bastoni, but their coach is thinking about him as a serious target and could push for the club to bring him to the Premier League.
