Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Torino defender Bremer has already clearly promised himself to Inter for next season.

Speaking to the Twitch channel of Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, as reported by FCInter1908, Bremer updated on the situation of Bremer at the Nerazzurri, and also gave the view that Inter are looking less likely to move for Sassuolo striker although they still want a striker.

Inter have yet to make a deal with Torino to sign Bremer, but their interest in the 24-year-old is no secret as they have made him their primary target in defense for some time.

According to Biasin, everything is in place between the Nerazzurri and the Brazilian, and this could well prove to be the decisive factor in their pursuit.

“Bremer and Inter have made a promise to each other,” he said. “The fear was that PSG under Leonardo, a great admirer of the player, could insert themselves into the situation. Now Leonardo is no longer at PSG, so that’s no longer an obstacle.”

“Now we wait for talks between Inter and Torino,” he continued, “the club already has the player’s okay. Bremer’s desire is to play for the Nerazzurri, now an agreement with Urbano Cairo must be found.”

“The President has already promised to release him for a reasonable fee,” Biasin explained. “The feeling is that the deal can be done, with all the usual caveats considered he was elected best defender in Serie A for the season.”

Asked whether the Nerazzurri could be working to sign Lucas Torreira from Arsenal as a backup for Marcelo Brozovic, Biasin said that “They’re not following him. The club are working on Asllani, who Ausilio especially likes. Empoli must be convinced however.”

Of Roma’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan, he said that “They seem to be interested in him on a free transfer. However, right now the priority is to sign Asllani for the future of midfield.

Regarding the rumoured departure of Alessandro Bastoni from Inter this summer, he said that “It just depends on the offers. If any arrive, they will consider it. But there’s not a consideration of bringing in Bremer to replace Bastoni. Bremer would be a replacement for de Vrij.”

Lastly, Biasin weighed in on the Nerazzurri’s search for a striker, stating that “It’s their biggest dilemma to be solved. Beyond consideration of specific names, Inter need a central striker.”

“Scamacca was someone they were very interested in but their interest has cooled down,” he added. “I think they’re thinking about an alternative, but there still isn’t a concrete name. They need a Number Nine with strong physical characteristics.”
