Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is proud of a season that even without the Serie A title saw the Nerazzurri fight until the end, win important trophies, and write more significant chapters in the club’s history.
The 23-year-old wrote a message to the fans on his Instagram account where he thanked them for the role that they played in making the season special, in a campaign that saw the Nerazzurri able to play in front of their fans after a year without them.
His message reads, “It’s been a long and eventful season there have been hard times and surprises but just as much there have been reasons to be happy.”
“Supercoppa, Coppa Italia, and that night in which we conquered Anfield even if this was not enough to move on.”
“A united team that faced every match and every training session with the seriousness and determination that led us to end this season, not as we would have wanted, but in a positive way, showing character and the desire to fight.”
