Inter striker Lautaro Martinez feels that even with the bitter way that the season ended with final-day loss in the Scudetto race, the team can look back on a positive season that they can be proud of.
Writing in a message to fans from his Instagram account, the Argentine reflected on the season just gone and expressed his satisfaction with the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana trophies won and a desire to go again next season even better.
His message read, “I’m so sorry because of how much hard work we put in since the first day. But the season ends with two trophies that we’ve been waiting a long time to win.”
“I’m proud to wear and defend this shirt.”
