AS Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has agreed to sign a contract with Inter and will undergo a medical with the Nerazzurri soon, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Armenian has made his decision not to extend with AS Roma and to join Inter instead where he can play in the Champions League.

The 33-year-old has taken a long time to respond to the offer of the Giallorossi which fueled speculation that he would like to join Inter instead.

The Nerazzurri made him an offer of €3.5 million per season on a two-year deal and the former Manchester United and Arsenal player will undergo medical examinations shortly.

Inter feel that he can rotate with Hakan Calhanoglu on the left side of the midfield three and he can also play in attack should he be needed there.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has just won the Europa Conference League with AS Roma.
