Inter could use one of their young strikers that are returning from loan spells as part of the deal for Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Inter have fully settled on bringing Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani to the club in the summer as the backup and long-term replacement for Marcelo Brozovic.

There is a host of similarities between the two players and one key characteristic of both is the ground they cover. Marcelo Brozovic covered 11.737km per game last season and Kristjan Asllani was only slightly behind with 11.05km.

Inter are of course low on cash but they could insert Martin Satriano into the deal which would highly interest Empoli, but the Uruguayan could be part of Inter’s plans.

Sebastiano Esposito is another option to involve as he is returning from his loan at FC Basel and Empoli will need a new striker.
