Inter-linked striker Romelu Lukaku is determined to make things work at Chelsea but head coach Thomas Tuchel may have other ideas, according to a report in the English print media today.

As has been reported by Evening Standard in London, Romelu Lukaku is determined to make his return to Chelsea a successful one after he rejoined the club last summer for €115 million.

Thomas Tuchel does not feel that the Belgian forward fits into his tactical plans though and that is why he is keen on signing Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer to be his primary source of goals.

Chelsea are just about to be taken over by Todd Boehly as he is completing the purchase of the club from Roman Abramovich.

It will be effectively impossible for Chelsea to sell Romelu Lukaku at anywhere close to the fee they brought him for, especially given he now earns £300,000 a week.
