Torino defender Gleison Bremer wants to join Inter this summer and a clause in his new contract could prove beneficial to the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Brazilian defender’s contract that he signed with Torino earlier this season comes with a release clause of less than €15 million which comes into effect in January 2023 and will be valid in the following summer.

Torino president Urbano Cairo has been asking for figures of €35-40 million for the defender this summer but given he risks losing him for significantly less at the start of 2023 for much less than his market value.

For this reason, Inter could get Torino to part with the player for a price that is more achievable. Half the battle is won because the defender has decided he would like to join Inter rather than the many other teams who are interested in him.
