Agent Of Inter-Linked Josko Gvardiol: “Inter Are A Fantastic Club, No Doubt He Is Ready To Play At A High Level”

The agent of Inter-linked defender Josko Gvardiol has said that Inter are a fantastic club and that he has no doubt he is ready to play at a high level, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with FCInternews, Marjan Sisic discussed the future of the RB Leipzig defender but refused to give away too much as to where he is likely to play his football next season.

He did say that he has not had meetings with Inter about his client but he does think highly of the club.

“Inter are a fantastic club, world class, but I haven’t had any meetings with them.”

When asked if Josko Gvardiol is ready for a club like Inter, the agent said: “I have no doubt that he can play at the highest level, but I prefer the step-by-step approach, doing the right things, at the right time.”

Marjan Sisic has been Josko Gvardiol’s agent for a very long time and he says that he is open to dialogue with clubs about the defender’s future.

“I am always open to dialogue, also because my job is to attend more meetings, but at the moment I prefer not to reveal what my future commitments are.

“I can only tell you that I have been representing Josko since he was 14 years old. He is a boy who deserves the best. He remained the same wonderful person even when he was successful and his future will be bright.”

It is not clear what sort of fee Inter would have to pay for the young defender and the agent says no meetings have taken place in reference to numbers.

“We haven’t discussed numbers with Leipzig yet, Josko is happy, I think his move here was great. He is doing well and there is an excellent platform to launch young top players.”

Many Italian fans may be unsure of what Josko Gvardiol can bring to Inter but Marjan Sisic rates him extremely highly.

“Josko is, first of all, a guy with a great character, very mature and reliable, characteristics of the person that then spill over onto the athlete.

“He is strong, fast, intelligent, dynamic, courageous, has good technique and is able to anticipate his opponent. He is also someone who tactically understands the type of match.

“For his main skill, I would say everything about passing, aerial duels, speed and technical ability.”

When asked which successful defender right now he is most similar to, the agent said: “Sergio Ramos and Virgil van Dijk.”
