Inter are waiting for feedback from Henrikh Mkhitaryan about their contract offer to see if he will join the club this summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport today, via FCInternews, Inter moved very quietly but quickly to try and secure the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a free transfer in the past few weeks.
They were aware that the Armenian had taken a lot longer to respond to the offer for an extension from AS Roma and it became clear that he may be open to an alternative.
They have made him an offer which is likely going to be enough to appease him and some even claim that he has already chosen Inter.
The Giallorossi are likely to be preparing their own counteroffer right now which will have to match or surpass Inter’s. The player must decide what to do next.
