Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that a fund did make an offer for Inter but Suning want to continue with the project, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As was said by Fabrizio Biasin on the Calciomercato Twitch, via FCInter1908, everyone at the club is now entirely focused on the upcoming transfer window which could prove very eventful, rather than any possible change in ownership at the club.

“It’s true that a fund has arrived and made an important offer, but at the moment the will of the Suning ownership is to go ahead and continue aboard Inter. The club is thinking about the market for these summer months and the goals for the new season.”

There was a meeting today between Inter and Simone Inzaghi where the aim was two discuss two important topics. One topic is the contract extension of Simone Inzaghi which is thought to be very close to completion.

“For what I have gathered, meanwhile an ok in principle has arrived on the extension of Simone Inzaghi’s contract. The season was discussed, the coach asked for the group to be confirmed and strengthened.

“They discussed what can and cannot be done, we need to bring €60 million in liquidity at the end of the market, everything is in the making.

“Many have already decided that Bastoni is destined to leave, from what I have gathered no name has been mentioned. Everyone has said they hope to keep them all, the possible maxi offer for someone could shift things.

“There has also been reasoning about possible admissions, but I’ll take a few minutes. It doesn’t necessarily go the same way as last year. Today, however, there are no million-dollar offers on the table of the Inter management.”

The other topic was transfers both in and out of the club. In regard to the Paulo Dybala situation, Fabrizio Biasin explained that the player does want to join Inter, it’s just a case of striking a deal.

“There is ongoing contact, the denials are cosmetic. Dybala would gladly come to Inter, they haven’t spoken about figures yet. Marotta is very interested, we need to find the economic fit.

“The feeling is that the situation could heat up. Everything always depends on Dybala’s request. The figures are far from what he was asking for a year ago, he still has to settle.

“It’s heating up, it’s not all done, but it’s heating up. Inter are expected to move their pawns soon and Dybala is waiting for Inter. There are good possibilities, I can’t say it’s done yet.”

A possible outgoing transfer is that of Ivan Perisic whose contract will expire very soon. The journalist says that it is effectively a case of waiting for the Croatian to announce what he is doing.

“We have to wait for him to make his announcement. Inter have made their proposal at €5 million plus bonuses for two years. It’s the last Nerazzurri offer, we have to wait for Perisic’s answer.

“Rumours about Juve? The truth is that there is an offer from abroad that is much more important than Inter’s economically speaking. Now it’s up to him to choose. The feeling is that we tend towards serenity on the situation of Perisic and Inter.”
