No one in Serie A has covered more ground per game this season than Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Lega Serie A website now has the final totals of how far each player covered on average per game during the campaign that saw AC Milan come out on top.

Top of the list is Marcelo Brozovic whose unrelenting efforts in midfield have been vital for Inter all season long. He registered an average of 11,737 kilometres per game. Second and third went to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic with 11,644 and Morten Thorsby with 11,487.

Fellow Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella came in eighth with an average of 10,968 and he was narrowly beaten by Inter transfer target Kristjan Asllani whose average was 11,050.

The top 15 is rounded out by Henrikh Mkhitaryan who reportedly agreed on terms with Inter for a free transfer today from AS Roma.
