Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku is pushing to make his return to Inter this summer and has arranged a meeting to try and make it happen, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Belgian forward is desperate to return to Inter just one season after leaving the club in a highly lucrative deal that caught many by surprise.

The striker has reportedly asked for and obtained a meeting with his representative from Inter, a tested lawyer who is not connected to his agent, Federico Pastorello.

The topic of the meeting would be to find a complicated way of bringing Romelu Lukaku back to the Nerazzurri ahead of the new campaign.

There are a lot of obstacles though, not least the fact that Chelsea paid €115 million for the player just one year ago and sanctioned a €15 million salary including bonuses. He is willing to lower his wages to go back.
