Former Inter defender Andrea Mandorlini has said that he does not expect Milan Skriniar to leave the club this summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during the 1 Football Club broadcast on 1 Station Radio, via FCInter1908, Andrea Mandorlini discussed Inter’s current situation in the transfer market and with the squad.

The first thing he made clear is that he does not expect the Slovakian defender to join a new team this summer, saying: “I don’t think Skriniar will leave, also because he has recently renewed. He and Bastoni form a great pair.”

Another player who has been heavily linked with a move away from the Nerazzurri is Lautaro Martinez but now it seems that his positive end to the campaign had led Inter to decide that he should not be cashed in on this summer.

Andrea Mandorlini explained that he is unsure what the future holds for the Argentine striker but he does hope that the team gets stronger in the near future.

“Lautaro, net of some difficulties, has done very well, so I don’t know, it’s a very difficult question. I hope that Inter will become stronger and stronger.”
