Inter are considering the likes of Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso, Cagliari’s Raoul Bellanova, and Monza’s Carlos Augusto among the possible replacements for Ivan Perisic ahead of next season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will seek out a low-cost backup for Robin Gosens on the left during the summer transfer window.

Perisic is set to join Tottenham Hotspur on a two-year deal having rejected Inter’s contract extension offer, meaning that Robin Gosens will be the starter in the left wingback for next season.

Another left-sided player will be signed to add depth to the squad and an option for rotation when Gosens is injured, suspended, or needs a rest however.

Filip Kostic and Fabiano Parisi are not players who the Nerazzurri are seriously thinking about, while Bologna’s Aaron Hickey and Udinese’s Destiny Udogie are players who they like but who would be too expensive at €25 million and €15 million respectively.

All of Cambiaso, Bellanova, and Augusto are considered good fits by the club, however, as younger profiles who would not be too costly and would have significant room for improvement.
