Inter are ahead in the race to sign Genoa wingback Andrea Cambiaso this summer, and the player would welcome a move to the Nerazzurri.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 22-year-old is one of the main candidates to replace the outgoing Ivan Perisic on the right and that he wants to make the switch.
A number of clubs are interested in Cambiaso’s signature this summer, both within Serie A and also in other leagues abroad, but the Nerazzurri appear to be the team in the best position to sign him.
The Nerazzurri plan to make Robin Gosens the first-choice option at left wingback ahead of next season, but are also seeking a player to add depth in the position.
The profile sought is a young Italian player with room to grow and improve, and Cambiaso fits the bill well, and could be Inter-bound this summer.
