Inter are monitoring several young French players as possible transfer targets should Ivan Perisic leave this summer, in addition to young Italians Andrea Cambiaso and Destiny Udogie.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is keeping an eye on youngsters in France as well as targets within Serie A.

Perisic looks increasingly set to leave Inter this summer, with the Croat reportedly close to joining Tottenham Hotspur, and the Nerazzurri will look to sign a left-wingback in the event that he leaves.

Robin Gosens is set to become the first-choice player in the position should Perisic be on his way, but a younger profile will be sought to add depth to the position.

Cambiaso and Udogie have been two of the names linked and have already proven themselves within Serie A, but according to La Repubblica the Nerazzurri could also turn to a player from the French league.
