Inter will wait to see whether Alessandro Bastoni is the player to leave in a big name sale this summer before they move forward with their pursuit of Torino defender Bremer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri’s strategy in trying to sign Bremer is linked to the future of Bastoni, and that their pursuit of the Brazilian is on stand-by.

Inter are confident about a deal to sign Bremer as they have complete agreement with the player, although they have yet to work out a deal with Torino for his signature.

A key aspect that will condition their talks with the Granata will be which big name player is sold this summer, with Bastoni one of the names most strongly linked in recent days.

If the 23-year-old is to indeed be the major sale made by the Nerazzurri, then defensive reinforcements will be an immediate priority and finding an agreement with Torino will be straightforward.

The club’s strategy could be different, however, in the event that Lautaro Martinez is sold, although they will still work to sign Bremer regardless.
