Inter wingback Ivan Perisic is set to sign a two-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur, and only the medicals are pending for the contract to be signed.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 33-year-old is all set to agree the deal and will fly to London soon to get the deal wrapped up, and that he will not extend his contract with the Nerazzurri.

Inter made their final contract offer to Perisic in a meeting last week, but the player has decided against accepting their offer, and will instead start a new adventure in the Premier League.

The Croat was convinced after speaking to current Spurs and former Inter coach Antonio Conte, and will reunite with the coach in north London.

The Premier League side’s offer met the wingback’s request of €6 million net per season in wages, and will see him sign a two-year deal to make the switch.
