Italian journalist Giancarlo Padovan has said that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will go to Inter but AS Roma could get Paulo Dybala instead, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during a report on Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInter1908, Giancarlo Padovan said that AS Roma have beaten round the bush too much and they have now lost the Armenian to the Nerazzurri on a free transfer.

“I already give him to Inter, Roma have waited too long. Maybe Mourinho or the club weren’t convinced to reconfirm him, they lost time but they’ve lost him now.”

The current situation seems to be that the former Manchester United man has got an offer from Inter and his current side on the table and it is up to him to decide where he will play his football next season.

Another topic that Giancarlo Padovan explored was the movement of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala who is leaving the club on a free transfer this summer.

He thinks that AS Roma could redirect the money from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s wages into the Argentine’s deal.

“But I’m convinced that Roma can still spend some money on Dybala. He would be a great signing for the Gialloross.”
