Ivan Perisic is set to leave Inter and join Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and has not yet responded to the Nerazzurri’s final contract offer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old has made his decision to make the switch to north London ahead of next season, and will reject the Nerazzurri’s contract extension offer.
Inter have still been hoping to keep hold of Perisic for next season and have been awaiting his response to their contract offer of a two-year deal worth €5 million net per season rising to €6 million net with add-ons made in the final round of contract talks.
However, despite the club having expected a response from the Croat and his representatives by yesterday, no response has arrived.
In the meantime, Perisic looks to have been convinced by an offer from Spurs, whilst he will reject the interest from Chelsea and Juventus to make the switch to Antonio Conte’s side.
