Re-signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku remains a dream for Inter this summer, although they will have to make room on their wage bill for the Belgian.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri are still thinking about the possibility of bringing the 29-year-old back one year after selling him to the Premier League side,

Even if Lukaku were to accept a massive cut to the wages that he currently earns with Chelsea, accommodating his salary would be very difficult for the Nerazzurri given their wage structure and the directive to cut spending on wages this summer.

However, with Ivan Perisic set to leave on a free transfer for Tottenham Hotspur and several of the other highest earners also set to follow him out the door, a move for Lukaku could well be feasible.

For the time being, however, things are only speculative, and it remains to be seen if Chelsea could be convinced on a deal.
