Inter are all set to complete a deal to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a free transfer from Roma this week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri are close to getting a two-year deal over the line which will see the 33-year-old earn €3.5 million net per season.

Inter have been working fast to make progress in talks with Mkhitaryan and his representatives, with the Giallorossi midfielder one of the first players identified as a free transfer opportunity to add a versatile profile in midfield.

There is total agreement with the Armenian on the terms of a deal, and now all that remain are the formalities necessary to make the signing official.

The club will work in the coming days to put pen to paper with Mkhitaryan, and should have a deal completed for him before the week is out according to the Corriere della Sera.
