Inter only need to complete the formalities of a deal to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a free transfer from Roma this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are far along in talks with the Armenian, and that they just need to get the medical done and put pen to paper on a deal to bring him in.

The Nerazzurri have moved fast in their pursuit of Mkhitaryan, who is a player they’ve identified as fitting in well with their strategy of moving for players available on free transfers to add quality to their squad.

There is a verbal agreement in place with the 33-year-old for all the terms of a deal ahead of next season, and all that is needed now is for them to sit down and complete the signing to formalize the agreement and make him an Inter player.
