Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is continuing to press for a return to Inter in the summer transfer window, and he believes that he can convince his club.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Belgian’s only priority remains a move back to the Nerazzurri, and he feels that he can persuade Chelsea.

Lukaku has made no secret of his desire to return to Inter, with the strained relationship with Blues coach Thomas Tuchel and lack of form in the English capital key factors to his desire to return just one year after his blockbuster sale.

Convincing the Blues on a deal could be difficult, as it would have to be on a loan formula for Inter to afford it and the 29-year-old is a player who they invested heavily in last summer.

However, Lukaku is undeterred, and believes that he can persuade Chelsea to allow him to make the move back to Italian football as was the case with prior big money signings Hernan Crespo and Hernan Crespo, rather than continue to struggle for form in the Premier League.
