Alessandro Bastoni does not wish to leave Inter this summer despite the fact that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing him.
This according to today’s print edition of UK news outlet Evening Standard, who report that the 23-year-old is not keen on making the switch to the Premier League, and that it will be up to Tottenham to convince him on a move.
Spurs coach Antonio Conte is hoping to bring Bastoni to London after having worked with him successfully over his two seasons in charge at Inter.
The Nerazzurri could be ready to listen to the Premier League team’s offer, with Bastoni currently looking to be the likeliest candidate for a big name this sale as the club needs to cash in on a top player to meet financial targets.
However, as far as the player is concerned, his preference is currently to remain in Serie A with the Nerazzurri, although Conte and Spurs could persuade him otherwise.
