Inter have made a formal offer of a three-year contract to sign Paulo Dybala this summer, and they are the club in pole position to sign him.

This according to Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, who reported in a tweet that the Nerazzurri have officially made their offer to the 28-year-old.

The Nerazzurri have been strongly linked with a move for Dybala even before his departure from Juventus on a free transfer this summer was confirmed, but a formal offer has not yet come.

However, this looks to have changed, with the Nerazzurri having reportedly put forward their offer of a three-year deal.

It remains to be seen whether the player will accept the offer or whether further negotiations will have to take place before a deal can be ironed out, but according to Merlo Inter are currently the club most firmly poised to sign the Argentine despite in the interest of Roma.

He tweeted, “Inter have just made their formal offer to Paulo Dybala. Their offer is for a three-year deal, and while talks continue, right now the Nerazzurri are the club in pole position. Roma are moving further away.”
