Inter could allow both Alessandro Bastoni and Stefan de Vrij to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the duo could both be sold and the defense reshuffled going into next season.

De Vrij has been linked with an exit for some time, with the 30-year-old’s current deal set to expire at the end of June 2023 and no extension yet agreed, and the club could decide that it is time to cash in.

Meanwhile, Bastoni is currently the likeliest candidate for a big name sale, with the club’s strategy appearing to have them lean towards allowing the 23-year-old to depart if a big money offer arrives to meet financial targets this summer.

The duo have both been regular starters within the Nerazzurri’s back three over the past three seasons, but the club could be ready to cash in on both and rebuild the defense.
