Monza have made Stefano Sensi one of their first targets to strengthen for Serie A now that their promotion to the top flight has been confirmed.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Lombard club are ready to move for the 26-year-old early on in the summer transfer window.

Monza sealed promotion to Serie A with their 4-3 win over Pisa yesterday evening, winning the promotion final from Serie B by an aggregate scoreline of 6-4.

The newly-promoted side are aiming to immediately add quality to their side in order to make the step up, and Sensi is one of the first names on their list, along with AC Milan’s Junior Messias.

Sensi spent the second half of the season just gone on loan with Sampdoria where he found regular playing time and fitness, and could be allowed to leave the Nerazzurri this summer.
