Paulo Dybala could be pushed into deciding on joining Roma this summer rather than Inter if the Nerazzurri are distracted by their pursuit of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that with the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of Dybala on standby and potentially held up by the situation with Lukaku, the 28-year-old could lose patience and accept an offer from Roma.

Inter have looked to be in pole position to sign Dybala for some time, as they have been in regular contact with the player and his representatives.

The Nerazzurri have not yet made the Argentine a formal offer, but it is understood that he has been awaiting their offer and prefers moving to Inter on a free transfer to joining the Giallorossi who have already made him an offer.

However, a complication may have emerged in the form of Lukaku’s return from Chelsea on loan becoming a more concrete possibility, and this could be enough to cause Dybala to decide to accept Roma’s offer.
