Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one step away from joining Inter on a free transfer this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the move is set to be one of the Nerazzurri’s first of the summer transfer window and that everything is in place for it to happen.

Inter moved fast for Mkhitaryan’s signature once the 33-year-old was identified as a free transfer opportunity to add depth to their midfield ahead of next season.

Talks have been ongoing for the past weeks, but no more negotiations are needed as the player is fully convinced and the terms of the deal are all clear between the Armenian and the Nerazzurri.

Mkhitaryan joined Roma from Arsenal during the 2019-20 season, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis, but with his contract set to run out at the end of next month he will not extend with the Giallorossi.
