Henrikh Mkhitaryan will give his final response to the contract extension offer from Roma today, with a move to Inter on a free transfer looking nearer and nearer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old will likely reject the Giallorossi’ proposal as he has made up his mind on making the switch to the Nerazzurri.

The Giallorossi have made one final push to convince Mkhitaryan to stay on past the summer and the expiration of his contract at the end of the month, despite the fact that the player has been in advanced talks with the Nerazzurri about a probable free transfer.

The Armenian should respond to the final contract extension offer made by his current club by the end of today, and this could be the final order of business to get out of the way before he formally agrees a deal with Inter.
