Inter Midfielder Stefano Sensi looks set to leave the club during the summer transfer window, with Monza one of the clubs most keen on his signature.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 26-year-old will be among the exodus of players this summer as the Nerazzurri look to cut their wage bill in order to meet financial targets.

Sensi spent the second half of the season just gone on loan with Sampdoria where he found regular playing time and got past his persistent injury issues.

However, the midfielder is not in the Nerazzurri’s plans, and will likely be sold as the club target a significant reshaping of their squad, with fringe players such as Matias Vecino and Aleksandar Kolarov also set to leave.

Newly-promoted Monza have made Sensi a major target to strengthen for Serie A, and are among the possible destinations early on in the window.
