Inter held an initial meeting with the agent of wingback Valentino Lazaro to determine the Austrian’s future this afternoon.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the meeting with Lazaro’s representative Max Hagmayr was just the first to determine the 26-year-old’s future.

Lazaro will return from his loan spell with Benfica as the Portuguese giants do not plan on making the loan spell a permanent deal, but beyond this his future remains up in the air.

The Austrian and his agent have stated recently that they hope for a permanent move rather than another loan, as the player’s aim is to find a club at which to get settled over the coming seasons.

The meeting held today did not outline specifically where Lazaro could move to this summer, but rather saw Hagmayr and the Nerazzurri directors take stock of his situation so they can plan out his future in future meetings.
