Monza will meet with Inter about signing midfielder Stefano Sensi at some point during the coming days.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that talks are scheduled between the Nerazzurri and the newly-promoted club and that Sensi’s name will be a key item on the agenda.

Monza are looking to strengthen now that they have officially secured promotion to Serie A, including by making the loan deals of Inter-owned goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and potentially defender Lorenzo Pirola permanent.

In addition to this, Sensi is one of their major targets to reinforce their midfield early in the window, and they will look to make inroads for his signature in the coming days.

The 26-year-old spent the second half of the season just gone on loan with Sampdoria, where he regained form and regular fitness, but the Nerazzurri would be prepared to allow him to leave the club this summer.
