Inter vice president Javier Zanetti has said that going to an important club would help Paulo Dybala who is heavily linked with Inter, according to a report in the Argentinian broadcast media yesterday.

Speaking during an interview with TNT Sports after Argentina’s 3-0 win over Italy at Wembley in the Finalissima, via FCInternews, Javier Zanetti suggested that joining Inter would be good for Paulo Dybala who is expected to sign a deal once it is offered to him.

“Dybala needs the continuity he has not had in recent years due to injuries and other problems. He is a player who can give a lot, who can be decisive at any time.

“Going to an important club would help him a lot. Paulo can play in all attacking roles, he has no problem in this sense because of the quality he has.”

Paulo Dybala scored Argentina’s third goal in the cup final on Wednesday night after Inter striker Lautaro Martinez had scored the first early in the game.

Javier Zanetti did not give much away when he was asked about the two Argentines forming a strike partnership at Inter next season.

“Lautaro and Dybala Inter’s attacking pair of the future? Maybe..”

It is believed that Inter have already got an agreement for a free transfer in place with Paulo Dybala, they just need to open the space in the wage budget.
