Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi has suggested that Inter need to speed up their efforts to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino as new details of his contract emerge, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

Speaking whilst on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, Marco Barzaghi explained that Inter need to accelerate their efforts to sign Gleison Bremer this summer to avoid the embarrassment of him joining city-rivals AC Milan instead.

“The competition from AC Milan is real, so Inter must speed up. There is a big stumbling block called Cairo, who is asking for more than expected.”

He then explained some new details on the clause in Gleison Bremer’s contract that any thought meant he can leave the club for a much lower fee in January 2023 if he is not sold this summer.

That clause does not actually come into effect until June 2023 which means that Inter cannot play it slow and hope that Torino jump at the chance to get a decent fee this summer.

“The clause, and this is news, we have checked and it does indeed exist, but not from January but from next June.

“Bremer can be released for a modest sum, less than €15 million. It also changes the belief in this clause a little. It is not possible to wait until January. You could include Pinamonti plus a youngster in the deal.”

Either Andrea Pinamonti or Federico Dimarco could be used in the deal.
