Inter are willing to look beyond the growth decree in order to secure the signing of Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, much has been made of the fact that Inter will not be able to benefit from the growth decree and gain important tax breaks if they sign Romelu Lukaku after June 30.

Whilst that is the case, it is reported that Inter are actually keen enough to bring the Belgian forward back to the club that they are willing to ignore the growth decree and still push ahead for a deal even if it had to happen in July or August.

It would end up making his gross salary €3-4 million more but they feel that it could be worth it for a player that scored 64 goals in his two seasons with the Nerazzurri before leaving for Chelsea last summer.
