Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri wants to bring Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti to the club this summer to bolster his options, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Il Messaggero today, Maurizio Sarri has recently signed a new contract with the Biancocelesti and now he wants to be backed sufficiently in the transfer market.

He desperately needs a backup to Ciro Immobile and his dream target would be Napoli forward Dries Mertens. It will take some time to know of that move is plausible or not.

In the meantime, other targets are being evaluated and one of them is Inter forward Andrea Pinamonti, who has just spent a season on loan at Empoli.

The issue is that the Nerazzurri would want at least €20 million for the Italian striker which is why Lazio are trying to convince Maurizio Sarri to settle for cheaper options like keeping Jovane Cabral.
