Midfielder Arturo Vidal’s agent is pushing to get a move to Flamengo wrapped up for the 35-year-old within the next two weeks.

This according to today’s print edition of Chilean news outlet AS Chile, who report that the Brazilian giants are not yet completely certain that they want to complete a deal for Vidal given his age but that his agent Fernando Felicevich is pushing for the deal.

Vidal is all but certain to leave Inter this summer, with Flamengo having been a strong transfer link for some time, and the talks have been ongoing.

The one holdup on the part of the Brazilian club is that coach Paulo Sosa is aiming to build a project around young talent and is skeptical of adding another player in his mid-thirties.

However, the Chilean and Flamengo are still in broad agreement, and his representative is continually working to get a deal formalized in the next two weeks.
